Customs and Import Fees
At Best Body, we want you to understand any potential charges when ordering, especially for international shipments.
Domestic (Australia) Orders
- For orders shipped within Australia, you will not be charged any customs or import duties, as the goods are being shipped domestically.
- All prices shown at checkout include Australian GST, where applicable.
International Orders
- If your order is shipped from Australia to another country, it may be subject to import duties, customs taxes, and/or VAT/GST according to your country’s regulations.
- These charges are applied by your local customs authority and are your responsibility. The amount depends on:
- The value of the goods
- The type of goods being imported
- Your country’s customs regulations
- Some low-value items may qualify for simplified import procedures or lower charges, but this is not guaranteed.
Refusing to Pay Customs or Import Fees
- If you choose to refuse any applicable customs or import charges, the parcel may be returned to Best Body.
- Refunds will only be processed once the returned parcel is received, and in some cases, shipping and handling fees may be deducted from your refund.
Sales Tax (GST / VAT)
- For all purchases, Best Body charges applicable GST/VAT at checkout, which is collected on behalf of the relevant tax authorities.
- For international shipments, GST or VAT may also be assessed by your country’s customs authority in addition to the Best Body GST collected at checkout.
Advice for International Customers
- We recommend contacting your local customs office if you are unsure whether import duties or taxes will apply.
- Best Body is not responsible for any customs fees, import taxes, or delays caused by customs in your country.
